The purpose of the Piano Roll Reader is collecting and archiving old music arrangements in digital form (MIDI) to preserve for future generations.
The Piano Roll Reader is used in the process of archiving, backing up and digital restoration of Australian music for National Film and Sound Archive (Screensound Australia) in Canberra.
